Central Park, North Woods (New York City Green Walk)

For those of you unfamiliar with the northwest corner of Central Park, this is the approach to “the North Woods” from a point just south in Central Park around what would be a point coordinate to 100th St. I like the illusion in the photography that creates the little clear horizon line of grass as it marks that lip where one thing ends and another thing starts, in this case, a nice patch of “forest” in the middle of Manhattan. That line is not real. It exists on a different, photographic plane.
