Old City Jerusalem Skyline Christian Islamic

The elegant skyline of the Old City in Jerusalem is Christo-Islamic. The Jews caught the bad end of the historical stick and got left out. It’s a rough and tumble world, without a lot of mercy. I like these rooftop angles of domes and minarets shot from a rooftop in the Jewish Quarter, with my back to the big dome of the Hurva Synagogue. At the end of the day, religion comes down to architecture, and architecture to money, muscle, and style. Visually mosque and church get along; politically probably not so well.
