Halakhic Ban on Jewish Access to Temple Mount

flier

An old poster by leading rabbinic authorities in the ultra-orthodox community in Israel banning Jewish access to the Temple Mount. Treading on the holy of holies, whose location is unknown incurs the ban of karet. Re: a more recent announcement re-confirming the ban, you can read here.  The old graphic could not be more stark.

  1. Paul Franks says:

The poster is presumably from 1967, since those who signed it are long gone. Rav Unterman, Rav Abramsky, Rav Nissim, etc. Perhaps it was reissued? Or are they using an old picture?
