Jump straight to the slideshow of Marisa Scheinfeld’s photographs on p. 5 of the article. The photographs highlight the shell of a space and the decrepitude of place. Disapora is not always what it’s sometimes cracked up to be in some sectors of the Jewish intelligentsia –or it is while it lasts. As a form of storytelling, these photographs would count as “epilogue.”
