Ominous Tidings (Affect & Mayhem)

Sometimes everything seems to match up. I spent the whole day yesterday inside writing on a big/bad news day. Lots of rain, thunder, and lightning outside. The rebels in Syria wiped out top ranking security officers including the Defense Minsiter, a suicide bomber (sent by Iran?) murdered seven Israeli tourists at an airport in Bulgaria, and an important ultra-orthdox leader Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, who died of natural causes, was buried in Jerusalem. On the way out to dinner, the clouds were still dark and heavy; a police van was parked nonchalantly outside a local synagogue. How miserable is it going to get, when?
