Jews & Money & The Not So Powerful After All Israel Lobby

SHELDON-ADELSON-facebook

So some good news now with the passing of the Iran Deal is that maybe just maybe we can all put to bed that anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that some all-powerful Jewish cabal, the Israel Lobby, controls U.S. foreign policy and can send the country to war. No, money can’t buy everything. Neo-Nazis will carry on. But what about the anti-Zionist left? Will Walt and Mearsheimer walk back their thesis or double down and obfuscate? Maybe we can just go on hating Sheldon because he’s Sheldon, not because of what he supposedly represents, namely the supposedly big (Jewish) influence of  big (Jewish) money, and big (Jewish) power.

Where would we be without the Koch brothers? No one said that the corrupting influence of big money became a non-issue because Obama won reelection in 2012. Adelson probably does more damage to democracy in Israel than here.
