    Maybe it has some significance that this is one of the few posts on this blog with zero comments.

    Such a misconstruction can in no way be intelligent or even propagandistically astute.

    Anybody with a modicum of intelligence knows that since the end of WWII no real Nazi would be so silly as to identify as Nazi.
    Knowing humans, and how projection is a central dynamic of their mind, you have to bet that if new Nazi are around they’ll label as “Nazi” their opponents.

    Same goes for “fascists”, of course. (For “delusional”, “deranged”, “ignorant”. It’s a very consistent rule of human behavior.)

    Let’s say that the consensus among the mainstream media on every substantial matter has reached the levels normal in Nazi Germany, as well as communist countries.
    Something that, of course, is in human nature to be much appreciative of (or we wouldn’t see it so regularly across history, would we).
