Fall Colors (Highline)

Impossible to describe, I  was still feeling light and hopeful up on the Highline, all decked out for fall, the day before the elections. The  beautiful dying growth has been pressed up and down into a narrow physical place threading through the dense urban fabric. The intensive cultivation only looks natural. Like a democracy, this kind of place demands constant attention and care.
