Little Red House in Red Hook, Brooklyn

IMG_1834

Love so much this old bright little red house and the way it stands out on Dikeman Street,  right off Van Brunt just up from what a hundred years ago or so were docks and warehouses, long since closed and re-purposed in Red Hook, Brooklyn. A little bit of U.S. Labor history, a scene of an immigrant dockworker’s life,  someone’s proud family memory.
