(Ritual Parts) Lulav (Michael Chigel)

Michael Chigel posted at FB this wonderful image of a deconstructed lulav and gave me permission to share. What first stands out is conceptualist vigor: the dis-arrangement of these rutual parts and their appearance in the digital image. On second glance after enlarging the image for this post, I see the delicate abstract patterns on which the pieces are placed and which holds them together.
