New Jersey Greenspace.

Demography is destiny. The difference between an urban park and this suburban one in Cranford, New Jersey has probably only to do with relative population density. But the effects are quite striking. In an urban park on a sunny day, every space is occupied by individual floppers and by groups of floppers. The occupation is less intensive, the park less animate in the suburb. I like how the green of the park is contiguous with and extends into the landscape of the surrounding neighborhood. There’s something to be said for quiet, and a little isolation.
