A Jewish Thought and Culture Blog (Lebanon)

“Philosophy and Law” is a  Jewish thought and culture blog that stumbled across me the other day when I posted about Syria. The “reading log” at the website suggests a completely new and generative orientation to Jewish thought and philosophy. The writer, whose anonymity I’ll keep, is writing or had written from Lebanon. These comments from the link posted below I found very interesting and think they are worth notice, as much as for the comments about a Jewish life in Beirut as for the comments regarding Syria. The image posted above comes from the blog. You can find the post here at: http://www.philosophyandlaw.com/2012/08/a-jew-in-beirut-part-iv-why-it-might-be.html.
