Reading List (Israel)

035

Am going on Monday to Israel for about 6 weeks. Long neglected books by friends and colleagues about Mendelssohn, Rosenzweig, Levinas, and Strauss will just have to wait. It’s getting more than a little embarrassing, not having read these books yet, but I have made a conscious decision not to read too many “Jewish” books in the “Jewish” State. Instead, I’m going to dip in a bit more deeply into imaginal space, which actually makes more sense of Israel than the “Jewish” stuff.
