Ramchal Synagogue (Akko)

Not much to look at and barely worth the visit, the  Ramchal synagogue in the old city of Acco is shabby beyond belief. The synagogue is named after the itinerate Italian kabbalist Moshe Chaim Luzzzato who immigrated to the Land of Israel in the 18th century. The whole structure is very low to the ground, with the synagogue occupying what seems to be a basement place. But these pictures came out nice. With a trick of the camera, the little gate into the diminutive courtyard looks kind of spiritual with the light reflected from the blue door.
