Eli Valley & the Prophet Muhammad

Eli Valley

What a trauma. Eli Valley won’t draw the Prophet Muhammad. Maybe part of an eye? It’s a strategy suggested a long time ago by Franz Rosenzweig in his Note on Antropmorphism. The Bible only represents the body of God, one part at time. I repost this sliver with the artist’s kind permission. You can see the whole thing here online at the New Republic.
