Snow Light Country (Last Week On the Ride Home)

On rt. 81 heading south between Syracuse and Binghamton. The views are especially dramatic when they open up around valleys and hills. The wind whips the snow into the air which refracts the late afternoon light. The trees pray. The barn sits. The hills roll. I spend a lot of time in the car “in” nature. It doesn’t get old.
