Religious Teen Age Intifadah of Stabbings (Shorouq Dwayyat)

18 years old, she wanted to be a shahid. This is already so sad, a religious teenage intifadah of stabbings. You can read more here. A friend on FB has since pushed back on this post, suggesting that I’m more sympathetic to the assailant than to her victim. I wrote in response that it’s not my intention to call her the victim. My sympathies are with the man she attacked. What I’m trying to say is that his assailant’s youth signals something sad and pathetic, desperate and dangerous about this intifadah of stabbings. No, I did not mean to be sympathetic. Her case is actually horrific. It’s a nightmare when ordinary young people go out like this to murder.
