On it’s own the Orlando massacre is American as apple pie, a stomach clenching shit storm of guns, religion, terrorism, psychosis, and homophobia. Each one sticking to the other, there’s no way to separate out any one element from the others except for analytic purposes. Enter Trump and his surrogates, pure fascist filth pouring Islamophobia into the mix along with vile political conspiracy, and an attack against the press. He morphs the story into himself. The country is better than this.
