Night Commute (Syracuse –> NYC)

[US 80W at Columbia, NJ, just below Delware Gap]

I like all the neon at this pit stop on the Jersey side of the NJ-PA border. You get the cheap gas. It’s time to think, to plot things out and to listen to CD’s or to the radio. This week: Led Zepplin, AC-DC, Stephan Wolpe, pop 40, and Afro-Pop. On the road, there’s lots of different  local color, a little desolate, and the motion is soothing and invigorating. Always a thrill to get home at the end of the trip.
