Much better than the garbage journalism at the Atlantic, get the dish here from the Syracuse Daily Orange on the Shimon Dotan at SU dish. Unlike at the Atlantic, the Daily Orange did real journalism, interviewing Dotan himself and a broad range of voices at Syracuse University to get to the bottom of a story far more complex than the way it has been presented in the Jewish press and rightwing social media. Kudos to the Daily Orange. This is how you bring a cool perspective to a burning scandal manufactured out of nearly nothing. Surprise, surprise, everyone ends up sounding reasonable (although the campus BDS community has yet to weigh in fully). Looking forward to the seeing The Settlers when it comes to Syracuse, we think in the spring. On a personal note, it’s perhaps obvious that I have never been more proud to be a member of the Syracuse faculty and community.
be nice if the atlantic did a followup, they are pretty open to comment.
